The short version: your images never leave your device. This page explains the details.

Your images

All image conversion happens entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. The files you select are read locally on your device, converted locally, and downloaded locally. They are never uploaded to any server, never stored, never processed by us, and never shared with anyone.

Because we never receive your images, we cannot access, view, collect, or disclose them. There is nothing to disclose. This is true for every converter page on this site, including the guides.

What we do collect

Like virtually every website, we use standard analytics (Google Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns: how many visitors, which pages are popular, what countries people visit from. This data is anonymized and aggregated, and it cannot identify you personally.

We also use advertising (Google AdSense) to keep the service free. AdSense uses cookies to serve relevant ads and measure their performance. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ads Settings.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies: analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Google AdSense). We do not use tracking cookies for anything other than understanding aggregate usage and serving ads. No cookie ever contains your images or any information about them.

Third parties

Google Analytics and Google AdSense are the only third-party services on this site. They may set their own cookies and may process limited data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

The homepage also displays a Product Hunt badge showing our launch ranking. The badge image loads directly from Product Hunt's own domain (api.producthunt.com). It is a static image with no cookies and no tracking script attached.

The EXIF viewer tool can show a "View on OpenStreetMap" link when a photo carries GPS coordinates. This is a plain link you choose to click, it opens OpenStreetMap in a new tab, and only the coordinates already shown on the page are passed in the link's URL. No request is made to OpenStreetMap unless you click it, and nothing else about the photo or the visit is sent.
